COVID-19 Response

Here at Ferryhill Sport & Education Centre we pride ourselves in taking our customer and staff safety seriously. This is why we have put the following measures in place, in line with UK Government guidelines, to allow us to reopen safely. As well as signing in to the building so that we have your details for the Track and Trace service, and having appropriate signage up in all parts of the building, we have also implemented these other measures:

Mandatory Face Coverings

It is now mandatory to wear a face covering in our building unless you are exempt from doing so. You may remove your face mask when you arrive at your allocated room.

Floor Markings

We have introduced a one way system throughout the building to help minimise contact as much as possible. Where one way has not been possible we have split our corridors to encourage people to keep their distance.

Hand Sanitiser

We have installed hand sanitising stations throughout the building to ensure everyone has access to it at all points in our centre. By sanitising your hands, this minimises the risk of spreading COVID-19 and other germs.

Table Distancing and Table Service

All of our tables in our Main Bar and Cleves Suite have been separated 2 meters apart to allow best practice social distancing. We are also operating table service so that contact between customers is kept to a minimum as this avoids queuing at the bar.

NHS Track and Trace

We are supporting the efforts of the NHS Track and Trace system by requiring all visitors to our centre to sign in and provide a contact number. Should there then be a related case to the centre, we can support the system by providing details.

Risk Assessments & COVID-19 Policy

The Management Team at Ferryhill Sport & Education Centre have completed full risk assessments of everything in our centre to ensure we adequately combat all risk. We also have an enhance COVID-19 Policy which works to keep all of our staff and customers safe.
